AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY
The United States is the only country on the planet that is capable of underwriting global security to secure both the self-determination of people and economic prosperity.
The policy challenges that dominate the international order are born from neglecting the burden of responsibility that is intrinsic to a governing Imperium. Although we must constantly discern between competing and sometimes conflicting roles, the Pax Americana must maintain a predominance of power relations that permit the expansion of freedom and liberty favorable to our interests.
The best experts that dominate international relations understand that Democracy is not the answer for un-free societies. Nevertheless, the Unites States cannot abrogate its responsibilities. The hard truth is that the Cold War froze the growth and social trajectory of many nations. September 11 ushered in a new phase of a very old civilizational conflict, displaced by the discovery of the new world, it has returned and must be actively engaged to thwart its regional and ideological ambitions.
